Segment Pipeline
Growth leads: companies that just raised capital
A company that filed a Form D is, by definition, about to spend on the things a fresh raise usually funds: hiring, tooling, and growth infrastructure. This pipeline surfaces the filing itself, not a rumor of funding.
How the signal is found
SEC EDGAR's full-text search returns Form D filings within a recent window — official, free, and keyless. When available, Conterity also checks the same company's public job board (Greenhouse, Lever, or Ashby) and recent Product Hunt launches, attaching them as corroborating context, never as a requirement for the lead.
| Source | Maturity | What it checks |
|---|---|---|
| SEC EDGAR full-text search | Real free/keyless API | Dated Form D capital-raise filings |
| Greenhouse / Lever / Ashby job boards | Real free/keyless API | Active hiring at the same company (corroborating) |
| Product Hunt (GraphQL v2) | Real free-tier API, needs a key | Recent product launches (corroborating) |

Where does the funding data come from?
SEC EDGAR's full-text search for Form D filings — an official, free, keyless US government API. Every lead cites a real, dated filing, not an inferred or estimated raise.
What corroborating signals does Conterity attach?
Best-effort, never required: an active public job board (Greenhouse, Lever, or Ashby) and/or a recent Product Hunt launch for the same company, when found.
